What's the difference between floor liners and floor mats?

While floor mats and floor liners are both things that are meant to be used in cars, they have a few differences. Floor liners are thin mats with a sticky material on the inside of them. Some of them also have built-in grips and will stick to the floor mats they're paired with. These mats aren't really meant to last a long time, so don't be surprised if they fall apart. Floor mats will last a long time and the adhesive on them should hold up even longer.
